The Holly Jolly Blog Tour Ends - or Does It? And Asks Regina Andrews About June 2013

My post going to Angie 1/6/13

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for stopping by Angie's blog to spend a bit of time getting to know me!
This week I'm hosting the wonderful Sharon Poppen at my blog:  http://worldofgood-gina.blogspot.com/

I am Regina Andrews, Inspirational Author - but that sounds kind of stuffy, don't you think? Let's try this -- everyone calls me Gina and I love happy endings, I love writing, I love romance and I love God, so naturally I write romance novels with an inspirational point of view. After all, what's life without a good dose of faith to carry us through those times when things are not exactly going the way we'd like them to be?
During the day I am lucky enough to have a full-time writing job at a national jewelry company, specializing in high-end designer and Estate pieces - I'm the one writing what you read about all these one-of-a-kind treasures! Very luck to have a writing job!
In my off-time, I volunteer for the blind, work at the local children's hospital and sing my heart out in the church choir. My hubby and I are proud 'parents' of a semi-feral cat named Queenie who really is in charge of the whole house. She loves Christmas -- especially tinsel! -- and so do I, so let's get to the questions and kick off Week 6 this fun and fabulous "Holly Jolly" blog tour!
Ques 1:
So now it is June, 2013. What have you accomplished since Christmas 2012?

No One of my 'absolutes' is to finish Book 5 in my Sterling Lakes Series, "Reflections of the Heart" by June. At the same time, I would also like to have a tight synopsis for Book 6, "Courage of the Heart".  Book 1, "Light of the Heart", was re-issued by WEE publishing as an ebook in October and appeared in print in December, so I am now trying to organize some promotions and publicity for that, as well as more reviews. Book 2, "Angels of the Heart", will be re-issued in both ebook and print form soon, too, and I am looking forward to that coming out and the publicity and reviews, too.

Ques 2:

What would you give Santa for Christmas other than cookies and milk? Idea, a heated sleigh blanket.

What a great question! One thing that I think would be a great gift for Santa would be one of those hats with the straws coming out of the top so he could stay hydrated on his rounds! Then, I'd give him a gift certificate for a Zoomba class at one of the gym chains that have locations all over. Finally, a motorized massage chair! With heat and different settings so he could really hit the spots that might be achy.
Of course, we mustn't forget the reindeer - I'd give each a four-pack of hoof slippers and a bundle of Reindeer Munch!
Well thank you for having me, Angie. Happy New Year, everyone!

Here's a link and a blurb about "The Perfect Proposal"

The Perfect Proposal by Regina Andrews

Never in her wildest dreams did Lindsay Richardson imagine that her life would shift from that of a quiet elementary school teacher to being the assistant to Dean Singleton Copley, one of the nation’s most dynamic business leaders in the high-powered corporate world.

Although Lindsay desperately needs this new job, she is mourning the loss of her father and facing the unexpected twists her life has taken. This time in her life is a test of her faith, her courage and her strength. Is the job the best for her family? Lindsay knows sometimes God’s plan for our life takes us through doors we didn’t expect to traverse.

Her struggles extend to not knowing what God expects from her regarding Dean Singleton Copley, the dashing bachelor, a man so different from her on the surface, and scarred from instances in his past. Only faith can give Lindsay the strength to deal with the many challenges of her new position, all her personal crises and the turmoil in her family life. Deciphering the path God wants her to take is the greater challenge, yet she wonders if Dean Singleton Copley is destined to become more than an employer to her.

Here's a blurb about "Glory of the Heart", Sterling Lakes Book 4:

Perrin Stafford, a war hero, has based his life on the ideals of his father and pursued a livelihood in the realm of stonework and masonry. Returning to Sterling Lakes, he finds the truth about his past in the attic of CC Cogshell's house - and for CC, who has started a new life in the rural town, this seminal move in her life as she leaves a terrible relationship may lead her to places she never dreamed of going. It is through the past that they will both be able to move into their futures...will it be a future they can share together?
