Logan is a prima ballerina until her ex boyfriend drops her on stage in front of a national audience, then blames her for being out-of-shape. Everyone believes him, he takes control of all her assets, and suddenly Logan’s reduced to working as a ring card girl before MMA bouts to try to pay off her medical bills.
Keane is a former marine fighting physically to help him battle his inner demons. Logan wants what Keane can do for her future. Keane doesn’t want anyone else to get hurt.

Logan and Keane are an unusual couple. A huge boxer and a dainty ballerina have little in common on first appearance, but chemistry doesn’t pay tribute to logic or appearances. Both have their own agenda. Both are determined to make their new lives a success. Yet both are also caring and honorable people who want the best for others.

There’s a huge cast of secondary characters, all of whom add life, depth and endless complications to the story. I love Logan’s attitudes. She’s feisty yet determined. She jumps to conclusions but she has the perseverance to solve problems as well.
Keane has many internal issues to deal with. As he wrestles them, he becomes far more than just a huge grunting fighting machine. He shows himself as a genuine hero.

Technically the writing and plot was great as were the characters. There were a handful of tiny grammatical and typographical errors, but nothing to detract from an unusual, but very good, story.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
