Menolly D’Artigo has had one hell of a week. Threats against her, her business, The Wayfare and now more chaos as war heats up in the Otherworld and the sisters along with their allies race trying to stop a daemon from resurrecting a demigod on Seattle and Earth. But as chaos reigns down on them and their allies, Menolly and her sisters will find a core of strength to deal with all the treats being tossed at their door even as they mourn the loss of their loved ones. Get ready for this time Menolly is determined to make people pay and there is no place to hide….

CRIMSON VEIL is one of those books that leave you enthralled from start to finish. With each book in this delightful series, the reader is thrust into a world of demons, elves, fae, goblins, dragons and more. The world building alone is amazing and the author does a marvelous job in keeping you intrigued as new details emerge, new allies or foes are introduced and more. Ms. Galenorn is a talented storyteller who knows how to weave a spell around her readers, making them ache for more when that last page is read. I do caution that you need to read this series in order as each book capitalizes on the last one and moves the storylines along. What makes this so unique as a series is how she is able to have three point of views in separate books. All three sisters-Camille, Delilah and Menolly- take a turn to tell the story and I find it a refreshing change of pace. It is a nice aspect of this series and the reader gets to see each sister’s strength, vulnerabilities and their hidden heart.

CRIMSON VEIL is a story not of loss and ruin but also of growth and love. The characters in the book grow as the story goes along in each book, showing the reader more and more of themselves as everyone deals with the enemies around them. All I can say is when will book sixteen be out and how long do I have to wait? The end of CRIMSON VEIL will leave you spellbound and with your jaw dropped open in shock by twists and turns this book unveils. CRIMSON VEIL is truly one of those books you can’t put down or stop thinking about. I look forward to seeing where this author goes in the next few books in the series.
