Wedding bells are ringing as a mystery surrounds the local yarn shop, A Good Yarn.

Lauren Elliott is determined to finally get a commitment from her busy boyfriend even as she reels from the news her younger sister is pregnant as well. Lauren is prepared to deliver the ultimatum-either gets with the program and give me a ring or I walk away. Bethanne Scranton is a newlywed as her marriage to Max is fraught with issues. From a conniving ex who wants Bethanne back to the hostile attitude of Bethanne’s daughter towards Max. Bethanne is torn in so many ways it is a wonder she hasn’t fell into a heap. But can a little compromise on Max and Bethanne’s part ease the stress between them? For A Good Yarn proprietor, life was great. Her marriage to Brad is still strong as ever, step-mom to Cody and now adopted daughter Casey, Lydia is thrilled when business picks up at the shop. That is she finds herself in a mystery as mysterious baskets are placed around town with a note to ‘KNIT ME’ on it. Who are brains behind this mystery?

Blossom Street is growing and as these women find out, love and friendship bring surprises even to the most unlikely of people.

BLOSSOM STREET BRIDES is a delight fun story set in the Blossom Street series that charms you right away. We get to meet some new characters as well as find out how things are going with some cherished friends as well. This time Ms. Macomber delivers a story that leaves the reader eager for more. I absolutely adore this series. You always feel like you are coming home when you pick up one of Debbie Macomber’s books. With a captivating cast of characters, intriguing storylines and more, the author delivers a wild ride from start to finish. What makes these stories so wonderful are the characters. They are everyday kinds of people and I can see myself sitting down at Alix’s French café for a coffee and muffin, walking in Lydia’s shop to window shop and more. This author really knows just what kinds of characters melt her readers’ hearts. The story has a nice easy pace that keeps the reader entertained even as they get drawn more and more into the story. I love reading the interactions Lydia has the many different characters that pepper this series. Some are just heart melting adorable to others who hide their softness under a prickly coating.

In BLOSSOM STREET BRIDES, we catch up with Lydia as well as Bethanne. These two ladies have been together in past books more than once and I loved seeing how they were doing long after the last page of their stories was done. With new character Lauren, the reader is rooting for all three women to find their own happy ever after even as fate and life conspire to keep them from achieving it. I really connected with Lydia from the first book. A cancer survivor, she took a risk when she opened A Good Yarn and found some amazing friends in the process. If you have read one of the Blossom Street books then you know many of the reoccurring characters that pop up from time to time throughout the series and I just adore it when we meet some new characters that keep the reader glued to the pages as well. The characters are well written, multi-dimensional and completely captivating. With her trademark style, the reader is treated to a story that will steal your heart, one piece at a time.

Return to Blossom Street in Ms. Macomber’s latest installment in this charming tale, BLOSSOM STREET BRIDES, and settle in for a wonderful afternoon of reading pleasure. I can’t wait for this author to pen a new story set in this exciting world she has created. Now the question is how long till the next book is here?
