Back to school
favorite: pens or notebooks?
This is a tough question, but I’ll have to go with pens.
Only because in desperation I will use anything to jot down my thoughts, but if
I’m without a pen I’m helpless. With my favorite writer’s block breaker being
that of riding on the back of the hubby’s motorcycle, I’m constantly coming
across scribbling on post-it notes, napkins and the back of expired coupons.
Although I can recall an instance when I was without either, but luckily
remembered I had my phone to email the story idea to myself before I was found
trying to use some primitive method of sticks and leaves to jot down the
chattering of one of my characters.
Hiking or jumping
into a pile of leaves?
Hiking, because it’s a nice way to clear my head and take in
the beauty of nature and let my mind wander, and that’s when and where many of
my story ideas originate. Stifling a shiver as I walked through the woods with
the huge trees closing in and crowding the paths, helped give birth to the
setting of my upcoming release, Destiny
Calling.
Halloween or
Thanksgiving?
I’ll go with Halloween, because if you allow it, you have an
excuse to be a kid again. My hubby and I often dress up to hand out the candy to
the kids, sometimes having more fun with it than our own children. It’s a time
to take your imagination and let it run free. Halloween also plays a role in the
setting of my novella, That Magic Moment.
Hot buttered rum or
hot chocolate?
As a hard, core chocoholic I’ll have to go with hot
chocolate. There’s just something so indulgent about curling up with a good
book while infusing liquid chocolate that warms me from the inside out, and if
I’m feeling a little decadent, I can add a dollop of whip cream on top.
Who’s book (besides
one of yours) are you most looking forward to reading?
As a woman with an undetermined number of books on her kindle due
to a near obsession with downloading books, this may be the most challenging
question of them all. It would be almost impossible to choose just one (that’s
like asking to pick the favorite of my children) but my favorites are always
the ones with a paranormal flair. I’m always up for recommendations of a good
story to add to my kindle.

Awesome post. I personally, would jump in the pile of leaves and then sit back with my aunt's hot buttered rum. Hmmm!
You make it sound so tempting Sophia :) Thanks for stopping by! Maureen
