Colton Abbott has a secret romance going on with his brother’s fiancĂ©’s best friend, Lucy Mulvaney and though he knows Lucy would like to have their relationship stay hidden, sometimes the heart longs for something more. But when a weekend away at the family lake house has Colton and Lucy as well as Will and Cameron there, well you can see things that are secret can not stay secret for long. Now Lucy and Colton are dealing with growing feelings for one another, the famed Abbott siblings’ nosiness and trying to deal with being in two different states. Now the question is can their secret beginning to a relationship survive and show these two that love is the most powerful of an emotion when two hearts beat as one?

I got to admit when Marie Force comes around with a Green Mountain Story, I drop everything and just have to read the new book. Right since the first book, All You Need is Love; I was hooked on this wonderful series and the Abbott family. The story as well as the entire series weaves a spell around you so much so that I was shocked to look up to see several hours passed while I was reading. Ms. Force just has a way to captivate her readers with intriguing characters, a fast moving story as well as some sexy scenes that left me wanting a cold shower just to cool down. Ms. Force’s characters are the heart of the Green Mountain Series. They are well written, multi-dimensional and quite appealing.
So when we met Lucy and Colton in the first book, I was intrigued by their obvious sparks so I was thrilled to see these two get a story in the series. Add in the rest of the Abbott clan in varying moments; let’s just say we get glimpses of future stories in this series that I am eager to read.

Meet Colton Abbott and Lucy Mulvaney. When they first met, sparks flew but Lucy lives and works in NYC while Colton lives on the mountain in Vermont but they spent weekends together, getting to  know one another and finding that they much in common. But when a planned weekend finds them facing Colton’s brother and Lucy’s best friend, Cameron, well let’s just say their secret romance just got shoved out in the open before Lucy was comfortable with telling people about her and Colton. I loved the dynamics between Colton and Lucy. Their relationship started as one of a fling but seriously turned to something much, much more within a blink of an eye. The scenes between these two kept me on the edge of my seat, whether they were laughing and teasing one another to those oh my god singe the fingertips scenes that left me wondering if a bucket of ice is in order. What I loved the most was how much Colton was willing to give Lucy all the time in the world to come to the same place he was in regards to their relationship. What was a fun fling, no strings relationship turned complicated quickly, even if Lucy was determined to not fall in love with Colton. The secondary characters are just as delightful and we got to see some sub-plots going on that were mentioned in books one and two continue with hints here and there of possible future books in the series.

If you enjoy character driven stories that have intriguing characters, fast paced storylines and more then I highly recommend Marie Force’s Green Mountain Series. I do recommend reading from the first book in order to see how Colton and Lucy got together and the rest of the Abbott family. I SAW HERE STANDING THERE is a wonderful installment in the Green Mountain series that is fast becoming my favorite series to read by this author. The way this author weaves the story along just captivates me and now all I can say is, ‘More Please’.

What a great prize package. I love stories set in the Green Mountain area. Their heritage is so rich. Having Fred the Moose and Maple Syrup in the package is a fun treat. I have not had the opportunity to read your novels yet. I look forward to it. If you have an emailing list, I would love to be on it. Here's hoping your novel is a huge success.
