I got to admit I am loving this wonderful series from author Gena Showalter. She brings characters to life with vulnerabilities, strengths and more that just astound me. The writing is tight with a few twists that just floored me. But it was the characters that just stole my heart. From the moment we met the boys, the original heartbreakers, I was hooked on seeing these bad boys get their hearts stolen by equally strong women, the ones that go toe to toe with them. This is an author who knows how to create complex yet intriguing characters that just steal your heart and won’t let it go, no matter what. I am in total awe by this author on how she can create such well written, endearing characters that can evoke emotions in a reader while they read THE HOTTER YOU BURN or any other of this author’s books. You laugh, cry, cheer and more while reading this newest addition into the Original Heartbreakers series. I recommend making sure you have tissues as well since you are going to need them.

Gena Showalter has created a series that is just delightful, wickedly sexy and just as emotional. THE HOTTER YOU BURN is a story that will leave you utterly wrecked and the ending just floored me. I won’t giveaway spoilers but I highly recommend you grab this book, go hide somewhere and just read Beck and Harlow’s story because you won’t want to put it down. This is a truly master storyteller at work and I, for one, am eager to see what this author has coming up next in book three in the series. I have a feeling I will be torn apart and blown away again. So run-don’t walk-to grab THE HOTTER YOU BURN and get ready to fall in love with a series that will leave you breathless.
