Once again Tara Lain has you falling in love with the men in her stories. In Knave of Broken Hearts we get to see what is underneath the facades that these two men show to the world. Jim both fights and discovers his true self, while Ken may come off as a player, we see that there is much more to him as well.

I loved listening to their story unfold. It was narrated nicely and I was soon lost in their adventure. Their attraction is almost immediately  but neither man thinks there is anything  that they can do about it. We are treated to parts of each of their lives and the problems that they face. When fate throws Ken and Jim together love begins to blossom.

As we get Ken and Jim’s story we also get to know some of the supporting characters as well. I loved Constance, she is a strong lady and I would love to see more from her in the future. Now Mickey is a piece of work and I really think more should have been done about his and his friends antics. I also loved seeing Billy have a part in this story and seeing his and Ken’s relationship grow stronger.

Ken and Jim’s story moves at a nice pace and never leaves you bored. The two go through so much in their own lives and still find a way to work towards their happy ever after. These two men learn that love will find a way to you if you let it.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
