An angel who is not chosen lives a life of misery and pain. Trystan knows this firsthand. He has felt the rejection of his kind all of his life. The only brightness in his life is the love of his sister. No matter what she has stuck by him and never ignored or belittled him, only loved him.  Trystan has always held strong against the bullying and hate never giving up hope of something better. Circumstances bring the mighty dragon Asagoroth out of his prison and it seems that  Trystan is what he seeks. There is more to the stories that the angels have been told all these years.  Asagoroth has a tale that has yet to be told. The angels have hidden away the truth and now he is back to take back what is his.

This is an intriguing story about love and trust. Trystan must learn to trust his heart and let it lead him. Asagoroth is much more than the enemy of the angels. He is a mighty dragon that feels and loves just like everyone else and it seems that he loves stronger and more than the angels themselves. He believes in love and longs for it but it is constantly taken away from him by the angels. The very beings who claim that he is the evil one. As Trystan and Asagoroth  work through their emotions and try to find out just where they stand together  the two are constantly threatened by angels. When the two think that they have finally found some peace their world is shattered. Asagoroth goes into morning and Trystan must find a way to survive and get back to his love but this time he may not be alone. This is an engaging read that gives you a different perspective on how life may have started in Earth.  Trystan and Asagoroth both quickly endeared themselves to this reader. Both are strong and so much more than what everyone perceives them to be.

Their story moves along nicely and is full of emotions and actions that will have you eager to see just what happens next. Love and acceptance must be taught and learned in this endearing story.
