When Metro came in to help Pirou with the books he never imagined his day would end with him finding an abused little bear in need of his help. As the two men are having a discussion a commotion brings a bleeding young man seeking sanctuary. Neither man can refuse the poor bear but Metro begins to feel a strong pull towards this bear and he is going to find out just why.  Can Metro help the young bear and give him what he needs as he keeps him safe and heals his wounds or have the abusers already won?

I always enjoy visiting Pirou and his world. This time we get to meet Metro a lion shifter and a young bear that comes looking for help. Harry has finally gotten away from his abuser after years of being held captive. Metro is not about to let anything else happen to Harry.  Not only is it the right thing to do but Metro has begun to feel a strong pull towards the little bear and will not give him up. It was nice to see their relationship begin to blossom.  I enjoyed watching Harry begin to grow and come out of his shell with Metro.  Kindness and trust go a long way  and  Harry finally gets to experience these things first hand. He is a sweet young man who finds so much more than help when he stumbles into Pirou’s asking for sanctuary.

This is a fast paced story that had me right from the start and kept me engaged until the end.  Emotions are high and attraction starts to turn into something more for these two. I hope that we get to see from Metro and Harry in the future.
