Your life can turn on a
dime. Ian learns this the hard way. He thought he found love with Rico but when
Rico goes back to Mexico Ian learns just who Rico truly is and what he really
means to the man. As Ian sorts through the mess of his love life he finds
distraction at work. His hard work and more is noticed by his boss Braden but
Braden is going through some hard times of his own. Coincidences and luck soon
find these two in a easy friendship. As their friendship grows so does their
attraction. The men have their work cut out for them and must decide if their
love is something worth fighting for.
Braden and Ian make a great couple and the narrator, K.C. Kelly, does a wonderful job of bringing them and this world to life for me. Their relationship is full of highs and lows. Both men have problems of their own to work out and Braden must figure out just how much he loves and wants Ian in his life. Not only do these two men have a story to tell but the supporting characters have a lot to say as well. Braden's children are great characters and we cannot forget Ian's cat, who has a big personality. I enjoyed the way Ian's brother Jim and his husband Ken are intertwined into Ian's adventure. The author has a wonderful cast of characters and weaves a beautiful story around them.
As I
listened to this story I quickly became immersed in Braden and Ian's lives. The
two men find that love is something precious and worth fighting for and I
