EMT Jaime has always been known as a player but he longs for something more and he does not want to settle. Love is important to him and he wants to find the real thing. He has gone through a lot of frogs to find his prince and on an emergency call for work he comes across Tate. A man that pulls to him like no other has since his time in the army where he met and lost the one man who could have been worth the effort. Will Tate be the one for Jaime or is he destined to be alone forever?

I am enjoying this series and this is a great addition to it. I loved Jaime from the beginning and am happy to see that he gets his own story told. Jaime is a good man who longs for something more. When he meets Tate he thinks that he might have a chance at that happiness. Tate has always been labeled as a troublemaker but Jaime sees something that no one else does and he is ready to fight for it. 

The two make a wonderful couple and I loved seeing them find their way.  The initial spark that they have continues to grow the more time that they spend together. It was also nice to see Raven and Caleb from the first book of this series.  Trust and friendship go a long way in this book. Tate and Jaime learn the hard way that those are hard to come by and worth the fight to keep them. 
KC Burn has woven a wonderful romance full of emotion that grabbed me right from the start and did not let go until the very end.
