Clint has been around long enough to begin to become jaded with the people at the many clubs and parties in the world of BDSM that he visits. Yet there is one woman who grabs his attention and sparks some interest in him. When they both attend a friend’s party Clint may have the chance he is looking for. Annabelle is just the kind of woman Clint would love to play with, but she seems to be attached to another. Luck seems to be on Clint’s side when circumstances bring him and Annabelle together, but will she be able to let her guard down and trust Clint? Can the two ever have a deeper relationship than just as play partners every so often?

Annabelle and Clint’s story is a nice read.  There is a connection between the two right from the start and it begins to deepen with each date that they have. As the two begin to find their way Annabelle’s past rears its ugly head. No matter how much she likes Clint, Annabelle still has trust issues and when she finds herself confronted with her past Annabelle must make a choice to trust again or let love fall from her grasp. I liked Annabelle she is a strong woman, she has picked herself up and moved on with her life. Annabelle did not let one man tear her down. She tries hard to live and enjoy what she wants. Clint is a good man. He is more than ready to help Annabelle slay her fears. The two make a nice couple. They work well together. It was nice to watch the attraction grow between these two and with that a deepening bond that makes it all worthwhile.
