It may be Christmas, but Harrison has lost his Christmas spirit and he longs for happier times. One fateful night changed his world forever but not for the better. Even the young man that has recently come into his world cannot bring cheer back into his life. When Harrison agrees to go to dinner he finds that the special gift he receives is nothing that he could ever imagine. Can he accept this gift and try to find happiness again or will he let it slip from his grasp once more? Will he open his heart one last time or are the walls he built to strong?
I enjoyed meeting Harrison and watching his story unfold. He is a good man that has gone through some hard times but continues to push through them and work to better himself and his life. I adored Harrison and at times his pain pulled on my heartstrings. Seeing him reach for his happy ever after made for a good read. Harrison learns that life can be hard and at times it can hurt but if you believe in love and magic your dreams just might come true.
This story may be a quick read, but it is full of emotions. It was nice to see Harrison find a reason to be happy again and risk his heart once more. The author does a nice job of bringing the characters to life and showing their emotions. Not only is this a sexy read but it also gives readers a wonderful romance that holds your attention all the way to the end.
