Fallen Angel Kaydesa hates humans and thinks the only way to leave his prison is to seduce the Summoner. What he finds is a woman who stirs passions long forgotten and thaws a heart long denied because this Summoner isn’t a woman to be seduced and then thrown away. Oh No, Alexandra is about to teach this fallen angel that humans are more than just playthings and both will find that falling in love never could be so sweet nor so wrong.

THE SUMMONER is a very sexy story that will leave you gasping for more. I love the dynamics between Alex and Kaydesa or her “Dark Man”. Ms. Steele deftly weaves a story of fallen angels, Satan, good angels, bad angels and all in between that mingle with humans and more. I love the way Alex stands up to her Dark Man yet is drawn to him as well. Her dreams are erotic and her days are full of longing for a mysterious man who drives her wild in and out of bed. Ms. Steele doesn’t just keep you humming; she makes you explode with all the sexual tension that pulses in between the pages of THE SUMMONER.

Meet Alexandra, what some may consider a Summoner. She can summon certain people from the Gray Zone and she doesn’t even know it. Having these weird dreams since childhood has her thinking she is a tad nuts yet she can’t resist the appeal of Fallen Angel Kaydesa when she encounters him in the Grey Zone. Kaydesa is determined to seduce the human summoner and get loose from his four-thousand year punishment in the Grey Zone. What he doesn’t anticipate is Alex being so sexy and one that is determined to find out the rules of her power over him. What happens next is a battle of wills as these two strong willed characters find themselves drawn to each other in the most primal ways and the reader is sucked in flipping the pages to see what happens next. I love the way Alex wouldn’t back down to her “Dark Angel”. She made sure that even though he can play her body like a violin, she was in control outside it regardless of how he made her feel. Kaydesa finds, over time, that humans are not just weaklings as he thought as he gets to know Alex and her friends. With a deft swipe of her pen, Ms. Steels delivers some intriguing characters that will leave you giggling and gasping for more.

THE SUMMONER is a hot read that will chase the cold temperatures away with each page. I do have to mention this has some scenes that may not appeal to everyone (i.e.: BDSM, ménage, etc). Ms. Steele is a gifted storyteller who weaves a subtle spell around her readers in THE SUMMONER and leaves you hanging for more. If you enjoy a story full of intriguing characters, simmering sexual tension and a fast paced storyline, then grab THE SUMMONER. I just hope this author comes back to story as it introduces some wonderful secondary characters that I would love to know more about.
