Nadia Bessonova and her family came to the US from Russia. Together with her two sisters, they had been trained to be good, polite women who can please a man. Their father then arranged marriages for them so they could leave Russia. Their father is a career-criminal and one day a man knocks on their door that makes their father shake in fear. Dominic Luder wants the car back that Nadia’s father stole. The man is so big, and looks so fearsome with the scars across his face that they are all afraid that he will kill them. Brave Nadia then makes a deal with Dominic. She will go with him and be his slave until her father can either come up with the money for the car or get the car back for him. Nadia and Dominic begin a dangerous game of seduction and Dominic finds out that his hardened shell can crack.
This was a thrilling story in every way. Not only exciting as this beauty and this beast get to know each other, but also exciting physically as they give in to passion and lust. I was captivated by this story on many levels and not only wishing my other half was available! I was captivated by Dominic. As soon as he appears he leaps off the page. He is a hero to swoon over and a hero to wish for. I was frantically turning the pages to see just how these two interacted, how they fell in love, how deep their feelings and passion ran. It was a breathless read. There are other characters in this story too that you will root for. Nadia’s sister, Jelena who is finding herself. And of course I wanted to hit their father over the head! I can recommend this story to everyone who loves a book to immerse in and who loves lots of hot, sweaty, sometimes naughty, definitely stimulating sex.
