Nick Gautier thought trying to live through high school was bad enough. Well that was before his classmates turned into zombies and started chomping on his friends. Now he has to deal with zombies, a new job with a mysterious stranger, a whole new world he never knew that included demons, vampire hunters and more plus try not to get grounded by his mother. Can his day get any worse than it is?

INFINITY introduces you to Nick when he is fourteen and on the verge of a destiny that will have him choosing what side to be on-good or evil. We know about Nick from the adult Dark Hunters books so this is a treat to see how he actually met the Dark Hunters, their squires and the crazy life they live while finding out about a destiny he never knew about. I fell in love with the writing of Sherrilyn Kenyon long ago and each time you pick up one of her books, you are welcomed home after a long journey. In INFINITY, we meet Simi, Ash, Kyrian and many of Nick’s school friends as they fight zombies-zombies that used to be Nick’s classmates-and it is up to Nick and his friends to figure out how to stop them before it’s too late. I don’t want to give too much away as there are some unexpected twists that foretell future books that will shock you to the core.

INFINITY is a wonderful story that will leave you racing to the computer to see when book two comes out. I laughed and cheered as Nick found a way to deal with the madness that was his life and enjoyed the many secondary characters that kept the story flowing smoothly. Tight writing, action packed and some wonderful roller coaster moments will leave you breathless and enthralled as you flip the pages. INFINITY delivers hours of reading pleasure and I highly recommend it to anyone who has read the Dark Hunter series. Don’t be fooled in the tag of young adult. It is all that and more within the pages of INFINITY. I am eager to see what happens next for Nick as he deals with the aftermath of learning about his powers and the world he will eventually belong to. Run-don’t walk-to grab this new installment into the Dark Hunter world and be prepared to sit up for hours to read Nick’s childhood story. I hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next installment into the Chronicles of Nick series.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
