Now Hank is spiraling fast out of control, calling for young men to play with until he grows weary of them. In walks a big bear of a man named Russell Evans and Hank finds a man who he can give up control with. But can Hank battle his demons even as he falls for Russell?

In WICKED HEARTS, we met Hank, a man I was determined to hate with a passion. A villain with an attitude and arrogance to match, he was a character you loved to hate. In SAFE IN HIS ARMS, Hank finds his life is out of control and he finally hits rock bottom. Can he dust himself off and grow up before he loses Russell? This is a story of one man’s search for something and finding out that it was something totally different. Ms. Thompson delivers a story that will have you on tenterhooks as Hank walks the path of destruction and ends up falling face first into a hole so deep, it’s amazing he could see. Ms. Thompson puts Hank through the ringer and by his side, showing Hank that there is someone who can love him is Russell, a man I would love to meet and be friends with. He has a heart of gold but being a Dom lends him the strength to show Hank what he expects of him. I like how this author really got into the characters themselves. She stripped them bare and then was able to build them up again. It was interesting to see and read especially for the character of Hank.

SAFE IN HIS ARMS is a story about redemption as well as Hank finds himself finally accepting who is now rather than what he was before Russell came into his life. With her trademark style, Ms. Thompson delivers a well crafted story that will leave you breathless and eager for more. I sure hope there are more Wicked Hearts stories in the future as there were some intriguing secondary characters that caught my eye as well. If you enjoyed WICKED HEARTS and wondered on Hank’s story, here it is and I suggest you settle in for an afternoon of reading pleasure from the beginning. I do have to say this has some scenes of BDSM that may be objectionable to readers who don’t enjoy reading about them (i.e. caning, bondage, erotic spanking, etc). Ms. Thompson hits another winner and SAFE IN HIS ARMS is truly a gem to read on a summer day.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
