Can you please share with us alittle about yourself?

Thank you for having me heretoday! I’m a writer, mother, marketingdirector, wife, chauffeur… I writemysteries and romances.

What is your most interestingwriting quirk?

I don’t know if I have one! I love my mochas in the morning and can’t geta good start without that. I am aplotter and pantser. And I love Southernfiction!

Can you please tell us about yourlatest book(s)?

Of course! Deceiving the Witch Next Dooris a short contemporary romance with a light paranormal twist. It’s about Storie Bell and Reid Malone andthe love story that began for them twelve years prior to when the actual storytakes place. And it’s Southern!

How did you come with the idea forthis story?

There’s a town called Glen Rose,and there’s a real Storie and a real Storiebook café that inspired the wholething. I thought the setting would makefor a great tale, and it did!

Who is the one author that youwould love to meet someday and why?

Sarah Addison Allen. I enjoy her writing and her magical realism.

What is the best piece of adviceyou would give to someone that wants to get into writing?

Never give up!!

Can you share with us something offyour bucket list?

I just learned to water ski(almost) at 46. Check that one off. Live in New England isanother thing I want to do! Right nowI’m in Texas.

What is in your To Read Pile thatyou are dying to start or upcoming release you can’t wait for?

Good question! So many things. Right now I’m digging into Ain’t Misbehaving,by newcomer Molly Cannon.

Can you share with us your currentwork(s) in progress?

I’m working on the next book in myMagical Dressmaking cozy mystery series. Book 3 comes out in October. After that is my next romantic suspense. Busy, busy!
