Sean Michael’s second installment in his sexy SHIBARI AUCTION series is a story that will make you fall in love with Alec. I know I did, especially as his past ten years comes out in the storyline, piece by piece and the reader is drawn to this hurting, weary man. This is my new favorite author. His stories are sensual, emotional and deliver an entertaining read for a lazy afternoon. Tightly written, the author delivers a strong, romantic story of a man who finds his last chance is something much more…a forever love that is his for the taking…if he believes in the connection he has felt with Benji, his new Master.
ALEC is a story of a young man who finds himself tossed aside for a younger model. Discouraged, heartbroken, he returns to the Shibari Auction House hoping to find one last master to please so he can go lick his wounds in peace after that. Alec is a man I found to be quite enjoyable, multi-dimensional and layered. He comes across as a man beaten down, worried about his future and hoping for someone to let him have some peace. What he gets is Benji, a young man who buys Alec and turns Alec’s life inside out. There is some laughter, some sexy scenes to enhance the storyline and lots of sparks abound whenever these two come onto the scene and I loved how this author deftly weaves a story into something rich and layered. It sure didn’t feel like a fifty plus page book. The characters are layered and show their fears upon the pages even as they struggle to believe in the hope of a happy ending.
SHIBARI AUCTION HOUSE: ALEC is a wonderful story that had me falling in love with it. Even though the story is short, Sean Michael packs quite a lot within its pages. I do recommend some ice, your significant other or sex toys nearby to help cool you down. The sex scenes are scorching hot with a tenderness that stole my heart and didn’t take over the storyline. I am eager to check out this author’s back list titles to see what else intrigues me. I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for his readers. Sean Michael is now one of my favorite authors to explore and highly recommend his SHIBARI AUCTION HOUSE if you are looking for a hot, sexy story to enjoy.
